The Showman’s Engine is a good sized working model of an English traction engine.
The Showmans engines used to be seen often at fairgrounds and country fairs. In this model the dynamo illuminates the 10 diodes mounted around the canopy of the engine. This engine has single forward speed and direction and has highly a detailed metal construction with painted brass boiler, working steam whistle, water level gauge and safety valve. Steering chains are located under the boiler and add to the look of this engine. Runs 15 minutes per fueling.
